We purchased this for our new house, and it delivers! We have warm, dry towels (not hot, not mildewy) when we reach for them every morning. We put it on a plug-in timer so it only runs an hour before we need to use it and another hour or so after, and we've had nothing but clean, dry towels. We hard-wired ours and mounted it on the wall, and it looks clean and classy and works great. This is also a great size--don't be convinced by bigger-is-better--there are plenty of rungs and we fold our towels twice and they work great. We liked it so much we got one for our kids--four towels, clean and dry. Good value, great product.

Purchasing this unit is the greatest thing I could have done for my bathroom. NO more musty smelling towels, and always dry for after a shower. The unit is hot, but certainly not burning to the touch, and DON'T expect it to create "Dryer warm" towels, just dry, clean smelling towels. I want to put one in the other bathroom, once I can figure out how to run electricity to that point.
BTW, mine was hardwired, and it looks perfect, like it really belongs there.

I can't say how happy I am with this product! I bought two last xmas when we knew we were moving to a new house and it's cut down on the amount of laundry I have to wash, it delivers nice warm toasty towels and dries them quickly. No marks on the walls so far (I was concerned with the heat maybe the walls would get yucky.. but nope)!!
You get the best results if you layer towels (don't try to weave them or put them on single). I've had as many as 4 towels on this rack and they dry quickly and all are warm !
One of ours is not hardwired the plug is at the bottom behind the side rung - you can't even tell it's there. I had it set up to hard wire, but then I realized I wanted an extra outlet (should have put one in the master closet! LOL) so it worked out well for us ... I just had the electrican shorten the cord so it just plugs in and that's it.

The quality of the towel warmer (finish and construction) is outstanding and the mounting instructions very easy. It works great and is a fantastic value. It can either mount to the wall with the cord showing or you can run an electrical box behind it so nothing shows. The hardware for either installation is included. Highly recommended!
6.) It's perfect for a small bathroom space.

We bought the Warmrails Hardwire/Softwire Towel warmer a few weeks ago, installed it ourselves and we really like it. We actually had an ulterior motive for buying the towel warmer: We wanted a safe, ongoing heat source in a small bathroom to help keep the moisture content down in a room that typically stays damper than we'd like. So, on that note, the Towel Warmer is successful. Having the towel warmer going 24/7 is keeping the small bathroom space dryer overall with no extra moisture clinging to the windows and ceiling. The towel warmer fits well on a small wall space, AND, we are enjoying warm towels when we get out of the shower. This one works perfectly for us. We'd recommend it to others. Thanks.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews. I am pleased I purchased this. Hardwire installation was easy for me since I had access to the attic. Towels are always dry and warm. Hot in the center and warm at ends. (Doesn't warm evenly but otherwise does a nice job.) This rack holds 2 medium to large size towels comfortably. If you need to hang more than 2 towels you may want the larger warmer.(Kensington) I will be getting a second one for my sons bathroom.
8.) Fantastic for $$$

Great towel warmer, particularly wonderful for the $$$. This towel warmer is not really brushed nickel (like a sink faucet would be) it is actually a brushed nickel "look". The towel rail is metal and has some sort of coating that makes it look like brushed nickel. However, we still love it and it looks great with our very high-end looking bathroom that is fitted w/ all Kohler brushed nickel products and floor to ceiling travertine tile. The towel rail holds its own just fine. For us to have purchased a "real" brushed nickel one, we would have been out at least $400-$600; I looked! Anyway, contractor hard-wired it, which was very easy for him, and it works a treat. Highly recommend.

This is the second Warmrails that I've owned and it is a wonderful addition to my master bath. The quality is extremely nice and as pictured. I had it hardwired and it looks very sleek, without any cords dangling. The warm towels are wonderful and I do think it keeps a lot of the moisture out of our bathroom and eliminates the musty odors somewhat. I highly recommend it. Once you dry with warm towels-it's hard to go back to regular towels--I'm spoiled!

We just did a remodel on our bathroom and wanted something that would add to the ambiance of the room. This was just the ticket for the price! Turn it on an hour or so before your shower or bath and you will be wrapped in warmth when you go to dry off. It adds so much without adding to your electric bill.

After a trip to Italy where every hotel room had a towel warmer, I decided I needed one. The warm rails fits well in my space and makes my bathroom seem upscale. I had it hardwired--the electrician estimated it would take 1 or 2 hours, but unfortunately, our 1918 house had all sorts of issues and surprises, and it took two electricians nearly six hours to install, at a cost of $510. Still, I love it. It came with a couple of clear stickers with warnings/a logo on it--rubbing alcohol took off residue from those with no problem. Also, I called the company and asked whether it would be an electrocution hazard if I were standing ankle deep in bath water and accidently grabbed the rail, not the warmer. They said no (unless I touched an exposed wire or something).

This towel warmer keeps towels from becoming musty smelling. If you are expecting hot towels, this won't do it. However, the towels are nicely warm and dry. We hang both our towels, a hand towel and also washrags on it and there is room for more. It is compact and sticks out about 5 inches from the wall. If there is one thing that I really wouldn't do without in my new bathroom, this would be it!

I installed the warmer over 2 years ago in a new bathroom. Love it! The warmer has been on for over 2 years straight. Wonderful in the winter. I keep it on during the summer too to keep towels from getting musty. I went with this smaller model because my bathroom is small. It fits two full size towels on it. Since the towels are being heated, it's okay to fold them up for hanging... they will dry without getting yucky. Definitely putting in these warmers in when I remodel my other bathrooms, although I might try and go with the bigger model.
19.) It's true: warm towels, not hot towels

The reviewers who mention you won't get "dryer hot" towels are absolutely right. My towels are sorta warm, and they are dry, but my towels always got dry hanging on the shower rod. The instructions tell you to really put towels on--more towels equals more heat. It seems the towels on top insulate the lower towels, keeping the heat in. Towels on the three middle shelves are warm enough--if you keep towels on top! The bottom towel and the top towel never seem to really get warm. I put a hand towel on top, just for drying hands. I should also mention I'm in Maine, and it's January, so what we want for a hot towel at 5:30am may be quite different from what you're after!
Bottom line: Nice enough, I'm not returning it, but it's not worth what I paid. If the unit were $65, then I'd be telling all my friends. As it is, I just say "eh."
20.) Not very big but does the job -- check the price!

Basically this item does what is said in the description. It warms and dries towels. If you have large bath towels they will have to be folded because the heater is not very large.
The price was $95 and I paid $35 during a gold box deal so that was really a bargain. But now that the price is over $160, I think this is too expensive for the quality and size.

Towel rack works very good at drying towels and cloths that are damp to keep them from getting musty. I put this on a timer to have it run only 10hrs a day instead of 24. Ad says rack is satin nickle, Wish it said
it was painted satin nickle. Looks OK but real satin nickle metal would have been better.

Easy to install. Needs exact drilling to fasten the towel warmer.
150W 24/7 is enough to keep cosy and dry a small shower/toilet if the heating is of.
The surface is hot and not recommended to mount it near sensitive material as shower curtain etc.
The surface finishing is rough and i would pay even $10 more for a better and smother chrome-surface.
The width is enough to dry two folded, medium size towels over night.
I would suggest to buy a Warmrails Towel Shelf Wall Mounted Towel Warmer and Drying Shelf, Satin Nickel to store the clean towels in case you need more than two towels near by.

I bought this towel warmer after about a year of contemplating whether this would fit in my small bathroom. Amazon was running a terrific sale so for the price, under $100, it is hard to beat. Installation was fairly easy (I have mine plugged in). Most important, it does warm my towels. Although it's not a hot as I expected it to be. The satin nickel finish is cheap looking and the adhesive used for the stickers on the rails removed part of the finish when I took them off. Overall for the price I am happy with my purchase.

After using towel warmers many times while in Europe we decided to buy one for our master bathroom. It looks nice, and we hard-wired it, but it really doesn't do the trick. The towels are slightly warmer than they would have been, but for the money (we paid $120) and the electricity it uses, we would have expected to grab nice, warm towels off the rack in the winter. We don't usually have to worry about towels getting dry on a normal rack, so that wasn't an issue. Now that it is installed it will have to stay, but I wish I'd saved the money and the holes in the bathroom wall.

I ordered 2 in after a fair amount of research and review verification. As described by some, they look a little cheap (one is a little different-shaped and more twisted than the other) and have a sticky name tag--but they work, with the caveat you have to spend an extra $30 for a separate timer which must be separately grounded (more $ for installation) for bathroom use. Also, one of mine came broken--the top bar bar rotates endlessly and clunks when a towel is placed upon it. I can not return it because Amazon is out of stock. If I could, I would still get another--although I would vet it better--because you get what you pay for and I don't want to shell out $600+ for better-made models.
