I really like this stand to get items off my counter and makes cleaning up any spills or splashes easier. My toothbrush holder and toothpaste fit on the bottom row standing up, so I think the design is just right. there is plastic on the feet so it won't scratch your surface. However, if you expect it to look elegant like in the picture you have to put those exact items from the picture on it. My random assortment of drugstore toiletries does not look at all elegant on my sink counter - with or without this stand.
